Whoa. Amazing portable fireplace. Srsly.
$3k for a portable fireplace is still cheaper than the $8k they wanted when I had my place built, but the thought of that thing getting knocked over by an exuberant dog sorta freaks me out.

by Holly JacksonConmoto TravelMate fireplace
Sometimes space heaters just don’t cut it. They can’t be put on flammable rugs, they aren’t romantic, and they don’t produce warming flames unless they catch something on fire. For consumers who want to soothe the space heater blues, Conmoto’s portable fireplace could turn up the heat–for a few thousand dollars.
Retailing for $3,300, the German-made Travelmate is a flue-less, smokeless fireplace contained in what appears to be a see-through briefcase made of steel (a sentiment shared by NerdApproved).

Google Calendar to iCal Sync. For free. Srsly.
Google Calendar CalDAV support – Calendar Help Center:
So the hunt for a Google Calendar/iCal sync tool is over. There were tons of third party tools out there, and the free ones I found were either crappy, manual, outdated or some combination of those three.
Luckily for us, Google’s finally made their information accessible via the CalDAV format. Deedas & I were just talking about this yesterday, and he was a bit pissed that there wasn’t an easier way to do this, but it seems waiting one day is the answer. In this case.
Click the link above to read the directions on how to do it. I’ve tried it, and it works great :)
