It seems the company's at least got it's stuff together enough to keep employees happy, and that's kind of a big deal. I'd go talk to the recruiter: there's no harm in hearing what they have to say. I have only been at the new job for three months, but I just got a call from a recruiter from Lockheed Martin. I still need to talk to the guy, but LM is a lot closer and IT IS LOCKHEED FREAKING MARTIN. I am a little afraid, however, that I would get there and find myself in a real life Office Space. The position is going to exist forever, too -- what I don't know is whether or not the contracting company will stay in that contract. I found out today that the smaller-city job is mine, so that's one confirmed opportunity. I'm just not sure which way to go, yet.
