I just finished playing Gunpoint, and at 18 hours, it was a LOT more entertaining than I expected it to be.  The developer describes it as “a stealth puzzle game that lets you rewire its levels to trick people”, which is pretty much the sort of game I love.

My personalized ending is listed here, with the text ending posted below.

I got it on Steam; there’s a free demo and it costs $10.  Great game :)

A case of crossed wires

27 dead. 28 injured. 20 jobs. $13,000. I’ve had better weeks.

They don’t let me name names on this blog, but the person behind the hit I was investigating is dead now.

He played a dangerous game, and he didn’t have the cards.

The trigger man’s dead. I thought that would feel good, but there’s no escaping what it cost.

I don’t know.

I think I picked the right side.

Maybe that doesn’t matter. Maybe all that matters is justice.

Either way, I need a drink.
