Funny… years after having made my switch to OS X (I switched prior to the public beta of 10.0), I’m still experiencing those day-to-day moments where you encounter something new in the OS that makes you think, “Man…. those guys at Apple kick butt.”

I set the door alarm off at work today. I was the first person to the office, & w/o thinking I used my key fob to unlock the door. Instead of hearing the pleasant *beep beep beep* — I-acknowledge-you sound, I heard a somewhat troubling *beeeeeeeeeep beeeeeeee* — who-are-you-and-why-are-you-here? sound.
