I found a new blogging plugin for TextMate, called BlogMate. It adds a GUI palette to TextMate that allows you to visually choose past posts and edit them, as well as create new posts. It also supports twitter and jaiku posts, which is quite cool.
I have to say that I’m really impressed with all of the plugin support and addons that the TextMate developers and community have created. It reminds me of how both growl and adium are full of great user-created content. I like the feeling of discovering well-developed software communities; as I use a product, I know that I’ll start to dig deeper into it and have all kinds of questions that the community will help me solve, or will already have solved.
