You know, I’ve never been to a butt-kicking contest, but I’d probably pay to see one if it ever came to town.

I’ve got so many things to do that I’m taking a quick break, post-processor-news-reading-day, to catch up on what’s actually on the list, and to re-evaluate all of the priorities.  Luckily for me, I found a widget that lets you interact w/ the To-Do lists in iCal w/o actually having iCal launched (about time), so I think I may make use of it.

I’m listening to Diana Krall and Miles Davis as I work — using my Sony ear buds.  They’re quite nice; they shut out an amazing amount of the environment and have a great deal of bass response for such tiny speakers.

Not-so-ironically, the most important thing I have to do today is to finish the requisition form for the person I’m hiring to work for me — they’re going to help w/ the workload I have.  Since I’m Code Monkey, they shall be known as Monkey Jr.!

It’s an odd feeling, having so much to do that I don’t know where to start.    When I’m doing a coding project, I usually have a very good idea of how long it’s gonna take — with the kind of stuff I’m doing now, I have no concept.

Off I go!
