Well, in short, I’ve been working and playing quite a bit.
Work-wise, I spent most of Januarly learning and implementing some AJAX techniques into some of my existing apps. I know AJAX has been getting a lot of ethertime recently, and having had the opportunity to play around w/ it, I can certainly understand why, and have to say that it deserves even more more than it’s gotten.
Near the end of January, I was asked if I’d like to take over a higher position at work, and wow, February went by quickly.
Somewhere in the middle of all of that, I was fortunate enough to get hold of an Xbox 360. I used C. Lambert’s Xbox Inventory Site to find out when one was available, and when one popped up (ignore eBay, Overstock and Barnes & Noble — they list auctions, and you don’t want to pay auction-level prices), I sprung.
By now you all probably know that I’m not a big fan of Microsoft, but I have to give it to them; they’ve done a FANTASTIC job w/ the 360. In my mind, credit all goes to Peter Moore, the man who did such a great job w/ the Dreamcast when he was a part of SEGA.
I wanted to post more, but it seems I’m having some network connectivity problems right now, so I’d better go figure out what’s going on.
