I recently took a moment to share w/ a friend how it was that I had this fantastic playlist on my iPod that never needed refreshing, yet always had my favorite songs on it.The secret is that I use two smart playlists together to accomplish the goal.
The first playlist, “Nicheâ€? is a conglomerate of all of the music and video-type files that I don’t want to be bothered w/ when I wanna just hear music. You can see what I mean by clicking on the thumbnail, below.
Second, I have a list called “100 Randomâ€? that limits itself to 100 songs and simply excludes whatever’s in Niche, and includes all remaining songs that are rated 4 or 5 stars.
Pretty sweet, pretty simple. The tough part is rating all of your music.
