A friend of mine recently married his boyfriend in California. I told him that I don’t usually condone marriage, but since he had figured out a way to do it without getting a woman involved, it was ok in this case.
Too true, though. This makes me wonder how it happened: was the vote done during the same time as the presidential election, or was the voting done on a different day? The only thing that makes sense to me is that the voters just got complacent and didn’t vote.

It was on the same ballot as the rest of the races. It turns out that it is hard to get support for gay rights from the black or Hispanic populations (Hispanic is around 35% of the population) and the interior portion of California is pretty much redneck.
