MobileRSS is on sale for $0.99 today. I have no idea how long the sale will last, but I’ve been using the free client for about a month now and it’s the only Google Reader (greader) RSS client for the iPhone that I’ve found useful/worth using.
The biggest feature that won me over is the fact that it syncs so seamlessly and quickly with the web interface. I’ve tried 3 or 4 other greader apps and they’ve all been slower and less reliable than the mobile Safari greader interface.
MobileRSS just works, and it offers Instapaper, Facebook, ReadItLater, Email and Twitter integration. Try out the free, ad-supported version first.

I’m partial to NewsRack, née NewsStand. A bit pricey, but does a great job and offers the ability to authenticate protected feeds which Google reader does not. Which other apps offer that I’m not sure, but that was a requirement of mine.
Though I believe at the time I had to use NNW.app to add the protected feeds to Google reader…

Hm. Nice interface on NewsRack, too. What’s the speed like? MobileRSS opens feeds quick enough to be about the same as the browser version; authenticated feed capability would be nice to have if it’s fast enough.

Not quite as fast as the web interface, no. From a dead launch, 9 subscriptions take about 30s to update. Though a full load each may take longer. You can however disable feeds individually and manually sort them. So you can place your favorite feed first and start on it as the others finish. It behaves a lot like a stand alone client because really it is one.
But again, speed is not one of its strong points. Kinda like a Vandura custom more than a 280z. You’ll get there in comfort, but parking it can be a real bitch. :p
Too bad there’ isn’t a “lite” version.

Huh. That sounds about like how MobileRSS does it (the graduated syncing). I really wish there was a lite version, too — the authenticated feeds bit is really tempting.
Now you've got me wondering if any of the other ones I paid for have authenticated feed capability. I focused so closely on speed that I probably missed that feature =/
